Yusuke Urameshi

In this story, the main character dies at the very beginning... Unexpectedly? That's how in the other world neither expected nor prepared a place for Yusuke Urameshi, the city's stormtrooper and eternal truant of school classes. A spirit guide named Botan tells Yusuke's ghost that the doors to heaven and hell are closed for him. He has the choice to remain a lost soul or face the ordeal of coming back to life.

Yusuke, who is guided by the thesis that he has been bad all his life, is not eager to be reborn. Nevertheless, the fact that several people (his mother, classmate Keiko, eternal adversary Kazuma Kuwabara, school teacher Takenaka) still grieve for him makes Yusuke change his mind. From Koemma, the son of Emma, the administrator of the dead, he receives an egg, which he must keep an eye on until it hatches. It is then that the soul will return to Yusuke's body. "The egg will take a year or twenty years to mature. In the meantime, Yusuke and Botan will be busy helping the "difficult" teenagers, i.e. the spirits, and solving their earthly problems!
