The actress first gained international recognition in 2007 after playing the role of Penny, a young and attractive blonde who dreams of an acting career, in the American sitcom Chuck Lorrie and Bill Prady's "The Big Bang Theory. Among other roles, Kaley has appeared in such films as Harry Thomason's biographical musical drama The Last Ride, voiced the main female character in Tim Hill's family comedy cartoon Riot of the Ears, and starred in Chris Levitus' feature-length comedy Penthouse.
Kaley was born on November 30, 1985, in Camarillo, California. Kaley mother, Lane Ann Wingate, did not work and spent all her free time doing household chores and raising children. Her father, Gary Carmine Cuoco, worked as a realtor. In addition to Kaylee, her parents also raised her younger sister, Briana. As a child, Kaley took tennis lessons. Her coach was Kathy Bryan.
